Patties Foods Limited Overview

Patties Foods Limited is a leading Australian manufacturer, supplier and marketer of branded frozen food company.  This company was founded by Peter an Annie Rijis in 1966, Victoria. It is now an ASX(Australian Securities Exchange) listed company and is represented in Australian food market by Four’N Twenty, Patties, Herbert Adams, Nanna’s, Creative Gourmet and Chefs Pride. Patties Foods has produced frozen fruit pies, frozen berries, meat pies, beef sausage rolls, baked goods and pre-made desserts.

The History

• 1966 - Peter and Annie Rijs purchase Patties Cake Shop in  Lakes Entrance, Victoria.
• 1974~1976 - A new bakery was built in Lakes Entrance and they acquired the Sunicrust Bairnsdale bakery.    
• 1985~1988 - A new pie factory was built and production was moved to Bairnsdale. Patties began distribution to Melbourne.     
• 1993~1998 - The number 1 selling Patties Party Pack 30's range launched and the  factory was expanded at Barinsdale. 
• 2006~2010 - The company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and installed creative gourmet frozen fruit production line at Bairnsdale.  
• 2015~ - Patties Foods has devleoped into one of the largest pie manufacturers in  Australia and has also expanded the business to the world.
